Senior asks: where can I find free genealogy charts?

Ian Lamont

Last week, we received a nice note from a fan named Pat who was interested in free genealogy charts. She said:

“I love your forms and appreciate that you offer them at no charge as I'm on a limited budget being a senior. My wish was that on your website you had one area that gave you all the free ones in a single area. Time is like money, and I hate wasting time looking for something all over a website. Separate the free from the ones you charge for and those that can afford to pay will surely find what they need and want.”

We have two pieces of good news for Pat and others interested in downloading our free genealogy charts.

First, here are the four genealogy PDFs that are always free on easygenie.org (please share with your friends and relatives who might be interested):

  1. 5 generation pedigree chart (see below)
  2. Cemetery record for genealogists
  3. Kids genealogy download: interview questions and map
  4. Extended family notes fillable genealogy PDF

You can also see the free genealogy charts grouped at the top of our PDF download page by filtering the results from cheapest to most expensive.

Other sources of free genealogy charts

Second, there are other sources of free genealogy PDFs online. They may not look as nice as EasyGenie genealogy PDFs, but they are free to download.

FamilySearch has some basic charts including family record sheets and research logs, as well as PDF guides for African American, English, Finnish and Scottish ancestry. You can download them here.

We've also heard about people getting free paper genealogy charts from libraries, but we don't have any local libraries to refer you to.
