Genealogy price tracker

UPDATE: The EasyGenie genealogy price tracker has been discontinued. Two high-level takeaways from the project, which started in December 2023 and ended in April 2026:

1. Except for certain periods (see below) and experiments, prices for genealogy subscription services largely remained static throughout the 30-month period, despite inflation. This was especially true of MyHeritage, which rarely modified prices.
2. Major family-oriented holidays (Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, etc.) are consistently used for discounts both for DNA kits and subscriptions services. If you want to save money, just wait until the next big holiday.
