I have some good news and bad news about EasyGenie charts. I’ll start with the bad news.
The printed Blended Family Genealogy Kit with Multiple Spouses will be discontinued. This unique set of genealogy sheets is the only one we are aware of that can accommodate non-traditional families.
EasyGenie launched the set in 2021 in response to feedback from customers who needed charts that could show multiple spouses and other blended family situations. Here's a close-up of one of the included forms:
Unfortunately, sales were never strong. When EasyGenie’s printer notified us last month that costs to print and package the set would increase 31%, we declined to re-order. The set is already expensive, and we wouldn’t feel comfortable passing the cost onto our customers.
There is a limited supply of printed sets still in stock, but once they sell out, they’re not coming back. You can order them here (any domestic order over $50 qualifies for free shipping).
There’s a silver lining: The Blended Family Genealogy Kit with Multiple Spouses is still available as a fillable genealogy PDF. Further, we’ve decided to cut the price of the PDF from 14.99 to $9.99. The price change will likely be permanent.
There is another piece of good news: the EasyGenie 1870 Census worksheet, which has long been unavailable in printed form, will be coming back in September as a FREE fillable PDF. This relates to an important genealogy effort that we want to support – the 10 Million Names project. Stay tuned!
